RUSD’s honor band had a performance on February 11 at 7 pm at Ramona High.

Honor band is a band made up of the best middle school band students from the Riverside Unified School District.

They played numerous songs like “Tomorrow’s yesterday” by Brian Balmages, “Portrait of a Clown” by Frank Tichelip, and “March to Castle Rock” by Steve Hodges.

The highlights of the Honor Band’ performance was, Gage students, Brenna G’s flute solo and Anthony T’s first chair. First chair it means that that person is the best at playing that instrument, so it’s a great honor.

At the end of the performance, the audience’s and the conductor’s smiles said it all. The performance was extraordinary.
